Quamon Fowler

Saxophonist Quamon Fowler has been honing his craft most of his life. He was mentored by legendary clarinetist Alvin Batiste, performing in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, sparking the release of his debut album "Introducing Quamon Fowler". He was selected as a Panasonic Young Soloist, later performing at the Kennedy Center, and joined the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Program. His composition The Reinforcement received recognition from the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards, further cementing his path. Quamon won the North American Saxophone Alliance Jazz Competition, toured with legends like Curtis Fuller and James Moody, and secured 3rd place in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition.
